About the Susan Alberti Charitable Foundation

The Susan Alberti Charitable Foundation (SACF) was established almost fifteen years ago to channel the energy and resources of Dr Susan Alberti AO Hon LLD in support of and in fund raising for medical research in Australia.

The Foundation’s focus especially towards finding a cure for juvenile diabetes in particular has been an abiding personal interest – refer to Susan’s Story for more details.

The Foundation has been assisted by an enthusiastic band of volunteers and supporters who have joined with Susan in working towards its objectives.

A very diverse and innovative range of fund raising or in kind support has been created  with many millions of dollars raised since the Foundation commenced.
