SACF Signature Ball 2008

The 2008 Susan Alberti Charitable Foundation Signature Ball was an unprecedented success, with guests and supporters revelling in the performances by three wonderful female singers, invited as part of the Balls ‘Diva’ theme.

As we have come to expect from the previous SACF events, the sumptuous four course meal & fine matched wines perfectly enhanced the glitz and glamour of the Signature Ball.

As in the past, a large number of businesses, corporate supporters and individual sponsors  generously donated spectacular auction items for the event and ball attendees rose to the challenge by spending generously. In all $340,000.00 was raised to fund research into finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. The Signature Ball to be held this year on the evening of Saturday 9th August 2008 at the Crown Palladium Ballroom is quickly booked to capacity by loyal supporters who attend year after year together with their guests.
Providing the opportunity for business networking, socialising and enjoyment the evening offers fine food and wines, a spectacular presentation of music and high calibre entertainment and is simply a must attend function.

More than $3.5 million has been raised towards research into the cure of Type 1 Diabetes since the Ball’s inception.

A significant number of businesses, corporate supporters and sponsors readily lend their assistance to make the evening an enduring feature and financial success.
